HELLO FAMILY: I HOPE EACH OF YOU HAD A VERY GOOD DAY. IT WAS CLOUDY AND COOL TODAY. THANK GOODNESS.

GRAMPS HAS BEEN WORKING VERY HARD. I CAN'T GET HIM TO SLOW DOWN ANY.

SAGE AND AARON WORKED TODAY. THEY SURE ARE SWEET.

TYLER SHOT A HUGH SNAKE TODAY WITH A PELLET GUN. HE LIKES BEING A COUNTRY BOY. HE ALSO GOT TO MOVE THE SPRAYER TO THE WILKES PLACE.

I DID SOME PAPER WORK AND MADE SOME CALLS, AND OF COURSE I HAD A NAP.

SUGARBABY'S PUPPIES SURE ARE CUTE. WE THINK SOPHIA AND SALLY ARE PG ALSO.

GOTTA GO CLEAN UP THE KITCHEN.

Ok here's a pic of stella's puppies when they were smaller and for sale the dog I tamed.

And here is a couple of pictures of Twila.

Twila is pretty sweet, she's already learnin her name and I'm workin on potty trainin her and it's comin along quite well.

It's funny because Stella's puppies are a lot smaller than Dottie's but they're like less than a day apart.

Today we took my calf and some other cows to the sale barn.

My calf probably won't make much money since it's a holstein, but atleast I'll be getting some money :)..

This mornin Davo said that Duck looked sick so I carried him to the house. I tried givin him water and food but he wouldn't take it so I gave him a shot of pinicillin.

Then I couldn't find him but he showed up when we got back from town so I put him on a dog bed on the back porch.
I gave him some water with a syringe but he threw it back up.

We went to town again to take the cows to the sale barn so we stopped at allsups and got some pedialite.

When we got home I gave him some of the pedialite with the syringe but then he died a few minuites later.

It was pretty sad but we did all we could and he's not hurtin anymore.

Tomorrow we're goin to Roaring Springs since it's my last day.

It's pretty sweet because Sally pretty much acts like she's Sugar's puppies momma.

She licks them and if they start whinin she runs over to them and see's what's wrong.

Well I'll take pictures at the springs tomorrow and I'll try takin some pics of Sugar's puppies.

Tuesday

Hello Family: It was another hot day, but it didn't reach 100. It was real busy on the home place. Sage, Reese, and Aaron sprayed until dinner. Courtney made a chocolate bundt cake that was tastey. Bridgette took care of the animals. After a help your self lunch, Sage and Aaron went to the grass farm to plow via the DQ. David, Tyler, Bridgy, Reese, and Court went to town and ran errands. Bridgette drove the group. I have had morning like sickness for the past 2 weeks. I don't eat until late, and I don't eat a meal. I'll be glad when this goes away because it gets in the way of my rat killing. Gramps, Bridgy, and I took 5 head to the sale barn. Bridgy was upset because in spite of her nursing skills, Duck died. Gramps took things a little more in stride today. We got the bill and our road cost almost $11,000. Can you believe this?

MONDAY

HELLO FAMILY: TODAY WAS ANOTHER HOT ONE,100 PLUS DEGREES. THE DAY STARTED OUT BADLY FOR ME BECAUSE I NEEDED MY BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICINE (SINCE FRIDAY) AND DR. HALE STILL HADN'T ANSWERED THE PHARMACY'S FAX. AFTER LUNCH I GOT MY MEDICINE, AND I FELT ALOT BETTER.

SAGE AND AARON SPRAYED FOR 6 HOURS TODAY. BRIDGETTTE AND COURTNEY CLEANED UP THE KITCHEN. THEY ALSO FIXED SUPPER. FRIED CHICKEN, MASHED POTATOES, MAC-N-CHEESE, GRAVEY, CORN BREAD, FRENCH FRIES, AND A BUNDT CAKE. UMMMMM,VERY TASTEY. I CLEANED THE KITCHEN FOR THEM. TYLER AND I WATERED IN THE YARD. TYLER PASSED HIS MATH TEST. GRAMPS WAS BUSY WATERING AND PLOWING. TOMORROW BRIDGETTE WILL TAKE HER CALF TO THE SALE BARN. WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON WE PLAN ON TAKING BRIDGETTE TO THE SPRINGS TO SWIM BEFORE SHE GOES BACK TO MO. SAGE AND AARON, MARTY, AND HOPEFULLY REESE AND REAGAN, AND CLAY CAN GO ALSO.

Tator Salad

Hello Family: how many of you like potatoe salad? We are eating at Ma's tomorrow and one of the items we are taking is potataoe salad. I am making it tonight because I am not a morning person. I like to make potatoe salad, but I don't like to eat it. Gramps loves it. Bridgette says she doesn't like it either.

Hello Family: It has been an extremely busy summer. It has been so HOT. 100 plus degrees every day.

Sage and Aaron worked today. Spraying and plowing.

Bridgette is in Dickens with Marty.

Courtney is out with Rance.

Reese and Reagan are at home.

Clay is at home getting ready to go fishing for his birthday.

Tyler is at Wilson running errands with David and Caren.

Nick and Max are in Missouri.

All of my grandkids are accounted for, and Gramps and I are at home with no kids. It is so quiet.

Today Bb,Gramps, and I went to Lubbock to get a new water pump from Lowes.

We got 3 kittens and one dissapeared, but we found the other 2. There's a boy and a girl, and they both look like my old cat Elvira.

I was afraid the dogs would try getting them again so I wired the carrier between the house and the mail box.

July 1st

Hello Family: Hope everyone is having a good summer. The summer is certainly going by fast.

Sage and Aaron came today. They hoed the squash and onions and loaded and hauled hay. They went to DQ and picked up lunch. We sure have been enjoying them. They are so fun. They will be here at seven in the morning because we have to be in Lubbock at ten, and Gramps has to get them started spot spraying.

What is everyone doing the fourth? We haven't made any plans yet. We'll probably fix some ribs.

Sherry is at Ma's today. Ma is going home with her thru Monday.

Well, I guess I had better go to bed. I have to pick Gloria up at 7:15.
