Misc.

Hello Family. It has been ages since I last blogged. I have been spending a lot of time on my facebook. Amanda got me interested in it and Clay helped me get it set up. I have been having so much fun. I get to talk to family and friends. I was really thrilled whenever I found Ilene Kendrick and Sherry Moses.

Well, while I have been on fb, Gramps has been pulling cotton. He is disappointed that the cotton is sorry. Maybe next year.

No doctor appointments this week, but David has an appointment Monday and Ma has her ear cut on Tuesday.

Did the kids tell you that mother was robbed outside of the bank?

Recap of activities

Hello Family: We fixed lunch and took it to Ma's today. Reagan, Sage, Aaron, Courtney, Rance, Deanna, David, Sherry, Ma, Gramps, and I were there. We had a real good time. The younguns make it so much fun. We left about three.

Gramps has been real busy on the farm. He hauled pumpkins three different days. He finished sowing wheat. He cut down his alfalfa. Tended to his animals. Made a trip to Plainview to get farm supplies. Spent two nights with Ma. Took Ma to the doctor, took her to Crosbyton to the bank, the tax office, and the cemetery.

All I do is wash dishes, fold clothes, cook, piddle, and keep Gramps and David focused. Oh yes, I tend to my three sweet little puppies. I also enjoy facebook. I spend a lot of time in the pickup going with Gramps.

We take David to the doctor in the morning. He has a two hour doctors appointment.

Sunday Dinner

Hello Family:

We fixed and carried lunch to Ma's today. This is our agenda every Sunday. Ma really seems to enjoy it. Sage, Reagan, David, Deanna, Troy, Clay, Ma, Gramps, and I were there for roast beef, mashed potatoes, etc. We didn't stay long because David was feeling poorly. He has lost over 30 lbs. He looks good, but feels bad.

Ma

Hello Family: We spent Thursday night with Ma. Gramps had taken her to the docotor at eight. It took about two hours. The doctor cut on her ear and took a cancer out the size of a peanut. He also gave her airecept, which is a alheimerz's drug. Gramps had lunch with her, and then we got there about eight. Ma needs someone to stay with her 24/7. I haven't seen Ma in almost two weeks because she went with Sherry to Suzanne's last week end. It seems she is getting around better, but her memory is a lot worse. I believe that she doesn't need to take care of business by herself. Gramps is going to go with her to pay the taxes because she won't mail them. I don't want to have to live there, but we may have to. Sherry has dropped the ball. She told Gramps that she was going to take a week end off this weekend because in the last seven weeks she has had company or Ma to tend to. I feel sorry for Ma because Gramps is all she has. Ma and Dorthy had a spat. She is so lonely. She called Gramps eight times today. So, Gramps and I may have a new address before long. Also, I want to buy Ma's house someday. Amanda, are you surprised? We will have lunch there Sunday. Sage is coming. I don't know about Reagan. We are going to have roast. Everyone, please call Ma. Love to all.

Hump Day

Hello Family: It is hump day. Just think Thursday and Friday, then it is the week end. Does everyone have lots of plans for the week end?

We have been to Lubbock every day so far this week. We don't have to go tomorrow, but we go again Friday. We have had a lot of doctor appointments. Gramps takes Ma to the doctor in the morning at eight. Ma has been driving Gramps batty. She called him four times after ten last night because her phone kept blinking and "it was worrying the snot out of her". Gramps told her 1. unplug it 2. cover it up 3. ignore it and finally 4. put a box over it and go to bed. Then she called him at seven this morning and wanted him to come in and look at her phone. He said we would come by on our way to Lubbock. In the mean time she calls Clar to come fix it, knowing that Gramps is coming by. She called and told Gramps that Clar had come and put new batteries in the phone. Then she was pissed that we would not be coming by. Go figure.

His bundling crew from Crosbyton is scheduled to come Saturday. He may get a few hands out of Plainview tomorrow.

Gramps is getting real busy. The CRP at the east plains comes out October 1st. He has got to move some cattle. He has got to sow a lot of wheat, pick watermelons. bale alfalfa, harvest cotton etc. etc. Mato is suppose to pick the pumpkins soon.

Sugar Baby, Sophia plus 4, Sally, Sara Beth, and SB are good. Gramps and David got new pups yesterday. Gramp's is a heeler and David's is rotweiller/pit bull mix. They are happy with their pups.

Pumpkin Day is October 10th. I don't know if we will have a booth or not. We will have to decide this coming week.

We're tired. It has been a trying day.

It/s Friday

Hello Family: It was hot today mostly because of the humidity. Dean went to town 3 times to check on Ma because she ask him to. She called him so many times we lost count. We don't know what we are going to do with her.

We went to Lubbock and took our new pressure pump back and got another one. We got the older one the last of June. It just didn't hold up.

My Pea Pickin Hubby

Hello Family: Gramps and I have an "empty nest" again. School starts in TX on Monday. / I have been resting since the weekend. I had such a good time at the Matador reunion. I have been having fun exchanging emails with some of my old classmates./ Gramps droped his phone in the irrigation ditch. He is due for an upgrade this month, thank goodness. Of course he was talking or should I say listening to Ma./Sadie, my littlest puppy is sick. I have been giving her yougart and pedilite for the past 2 days. I sure wish Bridgy was here. Sophia should have her puppies by Friday./ I got a new book, THE ELEVENTH VICTIM by Nancy Grace. I hope it is good./ Love you all......

Friday, August 14, 2009

Hello Family: There are a lot of pictures coming up. I was reviewing them to print for my class reunion tomorrow. Since these were on my laptop it was easier for me to put them on my blog instead of emailing them to myself. Now I have got to go to the office and print them. Sage has already printed pictures off the desk top computer. She has been a good helper. Clay, Sage, and Aaron have been running around with the camera to get shots of my pets. I hope these don't bore you....
